Your role
- We are looking for aManagingQuantity Surveyorto join our Midlands team based in either Derby or will work across a wide range of projects supporting clients on complex and high-value programmes withan initialemphasis on theWatersector.
- Working with clients across the public and private sector you will use your skills technical and othersto share your knowledgeexpertise and experience andultimately todeliver fantastic services.
- You will work collaboratively with our clients and their supply chain partners to develop/deliver solutions to complex and dynamic problems.
- The successful candidate will have a passion to work with ournationalinfrastructure clientsoperatingwith a growth mindset to build relationships with our key clients.
- This role requires you to pull on yourcommercialandprocurementexpertiseto advise and help deliver a wide range ofcommercialprocurementand supply chain requirements all whilst focusing on ensuring maximum value within the supply chain eco-system for our clients.
- The ideal candidate is a team player has growing leadership qualities andpossessthe softer consulting skillset required to thrive in a client environment.
About you
- AManagingQuantity Surveyorwith experience in major programmes and complex infrastructure within construction engineering manufacturing oil andgasor UK Public Sector organisation.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial/construction discipline or able todemonstrateequivalent knowledge and experience gained through practice.
- Member ofthe Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or an equivalent recognised body.
- Has experience with construction contracts such as NEC JCT FIDIC and can confidently produce and advise clients on their application.
- Has experience of dispute avoidance with the ability toidentifycommercial or contractual issues early manage them proactively and supporttimelyresolution before they escalate.
- Has experienceof line management or leading a team with the ability to provide clear direction manage performance and support individual development.
- Has the ability to work in a client facing environment alongside multidisciplinary teams of colleaguesclientsand partners to deliver solutions to complex client or industry challenges.
- Hasstrong communicationand stakeholder management experience with the ability to engage across complex stakeholder environments utilising a range of informative communication tools to support buy-in across the organisation.
- Has the ability and willingness to develop technical and consulting skillsin order todeliver excellent service to our clientsrepresentingtheAtkinsRéalis brand to their best of their ability.
- Has business development and win-work experience such as bid writing pre-contract engagement client relationship management.
