Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location including interior areas entrances parking areas and perimeter zones helping to identify and report potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity helping to support authorized entry procedures and directing individuals to the appropriate department or contact.
• Assist with security-related requests and/or medical location protocols helping to maintain order during busy periods restricted access situations and other routine or unexpected events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
