Job Title: Registered Nurse Correctional
Location: Moravia NY
Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Night (10:00 PM 06:00 AM)
Schedule: 5x8 Hours (40 hrs/week)
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in a secure correctional setting. Responsibilities include clinical care emergency response medication administration and maintaining accurate medical records while following strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sick calls assessments and triage
- Administer medications (including insulin and emergency treatments)
- Respond to emergencies (overdoses injuries asthma etc.)
- Monitor patient conditions and maintain documentation
- Coordinate hospital transfers when needed
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety standards
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Experience in correctional ER or acute care preferred
- Strong clinical emergency response and documentation skills
Education & Other
- ADN or BSN required
- COVID-19 vaccination (required)
- Flu vaccine as per guidelines
