Imaging Queensland is seeking an experienced and people-focused leader for the role of aClerical In Charge(Practice Manager) across ourBrisbane City and Diagnostic Imaging for Women (DIFW) clinics located in the heart of Queen Street Mall.
This is a rare opportunity to lead two established high-profile clinics in Brisbanes CBD driving operational excellence while fostering a unified and high-performing clerical team.
Your leadership will directly influence patient experience team engagement and service quality across the hub.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Youll be responsible for the overall coordination of day-to-day operations performance and service delivery across the two sites ensuring consistency and quality in patient care and administrative processes.
You will work closely with reception teams modality leads radiographers sonographers and other internal stakeholders to support staff engagement service efficiency and optimal patient flow playing a key part in building unity between the sites fostering a connected team culture and supporting the delivery of exceptional diagnostic imaging services.
You will report directly to the Administration Services Manager working closely to implement operational strategies drive team performance and ensure high-quality clerical services across both sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead clerical teams across Imaging Brisbane City & DIFW
Oversee reception operations patient bookings phones and front-of-house service delivery
Manage staffing rosters leave coverage and timesheet approval
Provide leadership coaching and performance support to the clerical team
Monitor workflows and daily operations to ensure high levels of efficiency and service quality
Champion a consistent collaborative and respectful workplace culture across all sites
Coordinate cross-site communication and ensure alignment with clinical teams
Identify and lead improvement initiatives in partnership with the Administration Services Manager and Territory Manager
ABOUT YOU:
Demonstrated experience in a senior clerical or administrative role within a medical or radiology setting
Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams
Excellent communication time management and organisational skills
High level of attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities
Confident in rostering compliance and operational decision-making
Passionate about staff development team culture and service excellence
Proactive solutions-focused and approachable
Sound knowledge of Medicare DVA Workcover and inpatient billing processes

This is a full-time position working a 9 day fortnight Monday to Friday (38 hours) and occasional weekend work if operationally required. Clinic hours are between 7:45am - 5:15pm
