Starting Rate: $20.00 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.50.

Please note: This position begins in April and is offered as a minimum six-month contract.

Job Duties Include:  

• Operate industrial dishwashers safely wash items by hand when needed and clean all cookware to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing surfaces keeping floors dry and hazard-free and storing all cleaned items properly.
• Manage recycling and trash removal from all designated areas.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and Fairmont standards reporting any safety concerns or equipment issues.
• Demonstrate flexibility by training and working in any required area and performing other assigned duties.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift
• Physically fit and able to work well under pressure
• Able to push pull carry and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to bend twist climb and kneel comfortably
• Reaching above and below shoulder level
• Working in loud environments with exposure to hot humid and cold conditions as well as dust chemicals fumes and constant contact of water.

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience an asset
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
• Ability to operate industrial machinery
• Passionate and organized about maintaining a clean safe working environment
• Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
