VCARB F1 Team CAD-PLM Specialist

CAD-PLM System Management & Development

Manage and maintain the existing PLM-CAD system ensuring stability and performance;

Develop and enhance PLM-CAD functionalities in line with business requirements;

Configure workflows data structures and integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP internal Materials DB );

Support system upgrades testing and deployments;

Ensure data integrity governance and best practices within the PLM environment.

User Support & Training

Provide day-to-day support to CAD-PLM users across engineering and other departments;

Troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution;

Track and update issues in the dedicated internal support portal;

Deliver user training and create documentation and guidelines;

Promote best practices and efficient system usage.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

Work closely with engineering design and manufacturing teams;

Gather requirements and translate them into system improvements;

Identify opportunities to optimize processes through whole PLM infrastructure;

Escalate issues to the PLM Project Manager and to the software supplier as necessary;

Collaborate with IT Teams for integration and infrastructure alignment.

Qualifications :

35 years of experience in complex PLM installations or similar roles;

Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes;

Experience in CAD and PLM configuration and development;

Good knowledge of engineering environments (Product Release BoM management Data Management and Exchange);

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;

Good communication and stakeholder management skills;

Fluency in English;

Experience with Siemens Software PLM solutions (e.g.: Teamcenter and NX);

Experience in motorsport automotive or manufacturing environments;

Basic knowledge of scripting or programming;

Understanding of system integrations (API middleware).
