Applications Support Specialist

AECOM is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to monitor and maintain the efficiency of our global software applications. The individual will report to our senior digital capabilities team. Experience in the AEC industry is preferred however knowledgeable candidates from other industries may be considered. This position will be based in Bogota Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee installation testing and maintenance of software applications to streamline operations
• Domain Server and Database administration
• Cloud infrastructure administration
• Creating and managing user accounts
• Application support for both internal and external users
• Analyzing software performance and usage
• Perform diagnostic tests before releasing applications
• Verify the efficiency of network infrastructure
• Work closely with global digital capabilities team

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering software engineering IT or similar plus a minimum of 4 years of related applications support experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
• Advanced knowledge of computer applications and computer hardware.
• Experience working with Web APIs.
• Attention to detail and quality in design.
• Proactive in providing application support.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience in providing application support in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with professional English proficiency (B2) both written and verbal.

Preferred Requirements:

• Masters degree in computer science computer engineering software engineering IT or similar preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate)
• Advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end programming languages such as Python Java and C 
• Extensive experience in providing application support in a fast-paced environment
