Summer Internships 2026 Chemical Engineering

We work primarily inâthe Western US withâofficesâin Larkspur CA Orange CA Billings MT and Ferndale WA. This role will require in-person interactions including but not limited to events field visits office-based team meetings. This role is part-time casual which does not guarantee a set number of hours per week. The target schedule is 20 hours per week however the schedule will be variable based on available work during the internship time frame.

We welcome interns interested in learning growing and applying engineering skills across diverse industries in a multidisciplinary environment. You will work alongside senior leadership receive training through on-the-job assignments using technical skills acquired in college and build new long-lasting relationships.

The Engineering Internship Program at Eichleay is designed for emerging engineers. The goal of our program is to provide exposure to a variety of project work and build critical skills including communication teamwork collaboration time management and problem solving.

Basic Requirements:

You have legal authorization to work in the United States for Eichleay without the need of sponsorship in the future.

You are attending and currently pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

You have successfully completed at least 1 engineering specific course.

You are available to start the internship program either mid-May or mid-June 2026.

You have a minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Job duties will generally be performed in a home office or office environment but may require travel to visit a clients office production facility or industrial/construction job site.

May be assigned to work at a clients office facility or site for an extended period of time. Conditions and/or schedule will vary at each location but the conditions listed above will generally apply. When performing work outside Eichleay and/or Client as required.
