Contracts Manager (Roads O&M)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha this critical role you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management related to roads operations and maintenance projects.
- Develop negotiate and manage complex contracts for roads operations and maintenance projects
- Analyze financial implications of contract terms and conditions to minimize risks and maximize profitability
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including project managers legal teams and finance departments to ensure contract compliance
- Monitor contract performance identify potential issues and implement corrective actions as needed
- Lead contract negotiations with clients subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain contract management processes and procedures
- Prepare and present regular reports on contract status risks and opportunities to senior management
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing road infrastructure projects
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual disputes and claims
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management for roads operations and maintenance
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management preferably in roads operations and maintenance
- Proven experience with government contracts and regulations
- Strong knowledge of roads operations and maintenance practices
- Familiarity with construction and infrastructure industry standards
- Solid understanding of local and international contract law
- Excellent contract management skills including drafting negotiation and administration
- Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment
- Strong project management abilities
- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel within Qatar as required
