Workdays/Hrs: Monday Friday (8am - 5pm)

Occasional Saturday Rotation

Role & Responsibilities:

Credit Analyst

  • Responsible for analyzing and researching customer financial data to determine the degree of risk involved in providing a loan through this data. Assess the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations on behalf of the bank based on ratios trends and cash flow analysis and create future projections.
  • Build credit presentations (CAPs) for lenders. Verify numbers are spread correctly review loan outputs and verify information build loan create narrative input collateral and update various account balances.
  • Conduct financial analysis including spreading of financial documentation ratio analysis and cash flow. Work closely with customer balance sheets profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  • Review and analyze the financial position of loan guarantors.
  • Manage the flow of financial statements tax returns etc. Follow-up with clients relating to financial information as needed.
  • Create collateral evaluations perform site inspections and audits as requested by lenders.
  • Provide credit information and support to customers as requested.
  • Adhere to all company credit policies and guidelines established by the bank.

  • Building Relationships:Work dynamically across all departments and foster effective working relationships with staff customers and vendors.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the banking industry including banking laws and regulations finance and accounting principles.
  • Customer Centric:Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills.
  • Teamwork:Excel in a collaborative team-oriented environment. Assist in incorporating new ideas processes and procedures into the workspace. Ability to work within a small team or an external party.
  • Planning & Organizing:Solid problem solving and decision-making skills while completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Prioritize work and pivot on tasks from multiple sources through self-direction and minimal supervision.
  • Managing Change:Incorporate new ideas processes and procedures into the bank and radiate positivity.
  • Responsibility:Willingness to assume responsibility be accountable and make independent decisions.
  • Problem Solving/Critical Thinking:Identify problems and determine accuracy and relevance of information. Use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives providing recommendations.
  • Accountability:Willingness to assume accountability and make decisions.
  • Technology:Attend training to ensure competent use of IT resources. Comply with appropriate bank Policies IT Policies and Procedures and Information Security Program. Give feedback on IT issues and experiences.
  • Physical Demands:Intermittently remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time and occasionally move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Equipment:Working knowledge of standard office equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Economics or other business-related field strongly desired.
  • Two or more years of banking experience preferred with commercial and agriculture banking administration experience strongly preferred.
