Cypress Cove Care Center is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our dietary team. This role is essential to ensuring our residents receive nutritious high-quality meals in a safe and compliant healthcare environment.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of consistency food safety and special dietary needs in a skilled nursing setting.

What Youll Do
- Prepare and cook meals according to menus recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure proper portion control food quality and presentation
- Follow all food safety sanitation and infection control standards
- Prepare meals for residents with therapeutic diets and modified textures
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen equipment and work areas
- Complete temperature logs and sanitation documentation
- Assist with inventory food storage and kitchen organization
- Work collaboratively with dietary aides and leadership
What Were Looking For
- Prior cooking experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred and essential for success in this role
- Knowledge of food safety sanitation and dietary regulations
- Experience with therapeutic diets and modified textures preferred
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
