Geo Core Account Executive - Portugal Market

The Role: Databricks is looking for a creative execution-oriented Geo Core Account Executive to join our team in Madrid focusing on the Portuguese market. Reporting to our Director of Enterprise Sales you will manage and grow a select group of enterprise-class clients. You will identify new use cases and secure new business to expand Databricks footprint within your portfolio.
The impact you will have:
- Identify new business opportunities and scale consumption use cases within your key account portfolio.
- Assess your key accounts and develop a strategy to meet and exceed revenue and consumption goals.
- Build positive relationships with key decision makers (C-level) and establish yourself as a trusted advisor for Data & AI-related subjects.
- Coordinate internal teams and Portuguese integration partners to maximize impact on the local ecosystem.
- Showcase exceptional value during engagements to guide complex negotiations to a successful close.
What we look for:
- Successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and KPIs.
- Experience selling to large enterprise-class customers (Financial Services or Mixed Industries).
- Proven experience selling data and AI/Big Data/complex cloud solutions.
- Experience of following robust sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC Value Selling).
- Based in Madrid with availability for frequent travel.
- Demonstrable experience working with integration partners in Portugal.
- Native Portuguese high level of English and fluent Spanish are essential.
