Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable Patient Escort to safely transport patients throughout a hospital setting. This role involves assisting with wheelchairs stretchers and hydraulic stretchers while ensuring patient comfort safety and dignity at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport patients safely within the hospital using appropriate equipment
Follow all safety protocols during patient movement
Assist with patient transfers while ensuring comfort and dignity
Communicate clearly with patients families and hospital staff
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transport equipment
Adhere to schedules and maintain punctual attendance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
CPR certification required
2 years of experience in patient transport healthcare or customer-facing roles
Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Ability to work alternate weekends
Physical ability to assist with patient movement and prolonged standing
Must pass background check and health screening
