What youll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse (RN) youll provide personal care household support and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA/CNA youll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing grooming toileting nail care etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping laundry bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

Qualifications for HHA/CNA:

• Required - one year of work experience (does not have to be in home health)
• 75 hours or more of RN led home health training including:
  • CNA license or proof of completion of a CNA program
  • HHA certificate or proof of completion of a HHA program
  • Nursing student who has completed Med-Surg 1
