The Role

• Teaching Business and Economics at KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A-Level/BTEC).

• Planning lessons that develop students analytical skills and ability to evaluate contemporary case studies.

• Supporting pupils with external examination preparation and vocational portfolio development.

• Promoting professional literacy and commercial awareness through debate and research.

• Coordinating or assisting with enterprise challenges such as Young Enterprise or Dragons Den style events.

• Engaging in the statutory ECT induction sessions and collaborative departmental planning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Currently working towards or recently completed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• A strong academic background with a degree in Business Economics or a related discipline.

• A passion for staying current with global economic trends and business innovation.

• The ability to simplify complex financial and commercial concepts for diverse learners.
