Whats the Role:

As a Senior Solution Designer you will apply your experience in solution design and software engineering to solve complex problems manage delivery risks and address design issues within the Business and Wealth Division. You will work closely with enterprise architecture engineering teams and business stakeholders to shape pragmatic well governed solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes across customer servicing and origination platforms. The role requires strong judgement constructive challenge and the ability to translate business needs into clear implementable solution designs across digital and staff facing channels.

This role must be based in Sydney and requires three days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and produce endtoend solution design artefacts aligned to enterprise standards
• Lead solution design workshops and collaborate with delivery squads to shape scalable implementationready solutions
• Act as the subject matter expert owning solution design across the lifecycle and supporting risk issue and gap analysis
• Define and document solution architectures including interface contracts ensuring solutions meet functional and nonfunctional requirements
• Ensure designs are sustainable secure costeffective and compliant with governance architecture standards policies and controls
• Deliver usercentred digital and AIenabled solutions across customer and staff channels maintaining design integrity through implementation

What do I need

• Experience delivering modern webbased digital solutions with strong system integration and RESTful API experience
• Background working in regulated environments ideally within financial services (Wealth or Business Banking)
• Exposure to AIassisted delivery including designing AIenabled or datadriven features
• Experience integrating machine learning or AI services and working with cloudnative digital platforms and frontend frameworks
• Working knowledge of Java JSON SQL and scripting languages
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with confidence to challenge designs assumptions and risks and high attention to detail in documentation
