Job Summary

Job Title: Solder Assembler (SMT / Through-Hole)

Company: Lockheed Martin
Location: Clearwater
Duration: 12-month contract (extension possible)
Shift Options:

1st Shift: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM 2:00 AM
Pay Rate: $18 $27/hr (depending on shift & experience)
Eligibility: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

We are hiring skilled Solder Assemblers with strong experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and/or through-hole soldering for aerospace electronics manufacturing. The role involves precision soldering inspection rework and quality assurance of PCB assemblies in a high-reliability environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience with:
- SMT soldering (required for both roles)
- Through-hole soldering (required for 2nd role)
Strong knowledge of solder defect identification & repair
Familiarity with IPC / J-STD standards (certification preferred)
Experience with:
- AOI (preferred)
- X-ray inspection (for advanced role)
Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions
High attention to detail and quality
