Job Summary
ICU/OT Head Nurse - Telangana
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU/OT Head Nurse to lead our critical care and operating theatre teams in Nalgonda Telangana. This is a full-time permanent position within the healthcare industry offering a dynamic environment for professional growth and leadership.
Responsibilities:- Assume leadership responsibility for the daily operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Operating Theatre (OT).
- Provide direct patient care ensuring adherence to the highest standards of medical practice and patient safety.
- Supervise mentor and evaluate nursing staff fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Develop and implement departmental policies procedures and protocols to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
- Manage staffing schedules ensuring adequate coverage and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Oversee inventory management for medical supplies and equipment within the ICU and OT.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing () is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience with at least years in a leadership or supervisory role within an ICU or OT setting.
- Proven expertise in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Operating Theatre (OT) nursing practices.
- Valid nursing license in the state of Telangana India.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams resolve conflicts and make sound clinical decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant healthcare information systems is a plus.
