Job Description:
- The Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect is a senior hands-on technical leader responsible for the design implementation and ongoing support of scalable secure and resilient Data Warehouse (DW) and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- This role blends expertise in architecture data modeling ETL developmentanalytics security and governance while mentoring technical teams to deliver reliable high-quality data and actionable business insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Design Development:
- Design and implement a resilient end-to-end Data Warehouse architecture ensuring data quality accuracy completeness error handling logging monitoring and auditability.
- Review and assess existing DW/BI architecture to identify gaps redundancies and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain an architecture review plan including periodic evaluations recommendations and roadmap updates.
- Develop and manage enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts supporting current and future analytics needs.
- Evaluate document and integrate all data sources and integration touchpoints across the enterprise.
- Model andimplement dimensional datastructures (facts dimensions) using industry best practices.
- Design build test and deploy comprehensive ETL/ELT solutions for large-scale data processing.
- Serve as the primary senior technical developer for DW/BI initiatives providing deep hands-on expertise.
- Propose enhancements to existing data models ETL processes and reporting solutions to improve performance scalability and maintainability.
- Analytics Reporting G Business Intelligence
- Perform complex data analysis to build a deep understanding of data structures business processes and use cases.
- Identify analyze and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets to deliver meaningful business insights.
- Develop deliver and support enterprise reporting dashboards KPIs and advanced analytics solutions.
- Ensure BI solutions are optimized for performance scalability and usability.
- Security Governance G Compliance
- Own and lead the overall Data Warehouse security architecture from design to implementation.
- Define and enforce comprehensive security controls including authentication authorization and data access policies.
- Define information security requirements and remediation plans including policy- rule- and attribute-based access controls.
- Enable and manage data-at-rest and data-in-transit security features.
- Apply data governance best practices to ensure proper data lineage stewardship and regulatory compliance.
Leadership Collaboration G Delivery:
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor guiding team members in DW/BI architecture and best practices.
- Partner with business stakeholders data stewards and IT teams to define requirements prioritize work and meet delivery timelines.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear architectural strategies and implementable solutions.
- Track progress against delivery plans and monitor milestones risks and dependencies.
Operations Quality Support:
- Provide senior-level production support for all DW/BI solutions including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Design and maintain backup recovery and disaster recovery processes for all data sources and platforms.
- Identify communicate and mitigate technical risks and delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Perform quality assurance activities including design and deliverable reviews.
- Assist with organizing documenting and managing A and production releases.
Standards Documentation Compliance
- Contribute to the development enforcement and continuous improvement of EDW/BI standards and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to team operating standards for source code control issue trackingtime reporting and release management.
- Contribute to planning estimation and resourcing of reporting and analytics solutions.
- Produce high-quality project artifacts including:
- Technical requirements and specifications
- Test plans and documentation
- System and operations guides
- Issue and enhancement documentation
- Backup and disaster recovery plans
Experience
- 8 12 years of relevant experience in Enterprise DataWarehousing BI and Analytics roles.
Technical Skills
- Expert-level experience with the Microsoft BI platform including:
- Microsoft S L Server
- SSIS SSAS (Tabular/multi) SSRS
- Power BI Excel
- Strong expertise in data modeling S L programming and ETL development.
- Proven experience delivering BI solutions through enterprise portals (intranet BI portalscustomer-facing systems) with robust security.
- Deep understanding of DW/BI security performance tuning indexing aggregation strategies and query optimization.
- Scheduling via S L Server Agent or orchestration tools.
- Experience with Big Data architectures and technologies is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Data Fabric/ Databricks is a plus.
