Job Summary

EDUCATION/CERTIFICTION:

Bachelors Degree from accredited university
Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Knowledge of overall operation of instrumental music program
Percussion specialist preferred but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
Knowledge of state and UIL policies governing band
Ability to interpret policy procedures and data
Strong communication public relations and interpersonal skills
Team Teaching at both Junior High and High School
Collaborate with a team of directors

EXPERIENCE:

Prefer 1-2 years teaching and assistant band directing experience
