Summary

Dimensional Innovations is seeking a multidisciplinaryExperiential Designerto help create immersive story-driven environments that connect people to place. This role sits at the intersection of architecture spatial design and storytellingfocused on shaping physical experiences rather than traditional buildings.

Youll work alongside strategists fabricators technologists and project teams to translate ideas into compelling spatial concepts from early sketches through design development.

What Youll Do

  • Developspatial design conceptsfor branded environments exhibits and experiential installations
  • Translate ideas intoclear visual narrativesthrough sketches diagrams and presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve concepts into buildable solutions
  • Exploreform scale proportion and human experiencein physical space
  • Create iterative design studies and participate in critiques and design reviews
  • Support design development with an understanding ofmaterials fabrication and construction constraints
  • Contribute to storytelling throughenvironmental graphics layout and spatial sequencing
  • Participate in client presentations and communicate design intent clearly

Core Skills Were Looking For

  • Strongspatial thinkingand ability to design in 3D
  • Solid grasp ofscale proportion and human-centered design
  • Ability to move fromconcept toiteration torefined solution
  • Proficiency insketching (hand and/or digital)to communicate ideas quickly
  • Experience withdesign storytelling and narrative development
  • Working knowledge ofmaterials and how things get built
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and collaborating across disciplines

Tools & Methods

  • 3D modeling tools (Rhino Revit SketchUp or similar)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign)
  • Rendering tools (Enscape V-Ray Lumion or equivalent)
  • Physical or digital prototyping workflows

Nice to Have

  • Background in architecture interior design industrial design or similar
  • Experience in experiential design exhibitions or themed environments
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes or shop drawings
  • Motion interactive or media integration awareness

This is a salary (exempt) position.
