Senior Accounting Analyst

Overview

Legacy Career Solutions is partnering with a global privately held organization in the hospitality and travel industry to identify aSenior Accounting Analyst.

This role will play a key part in supporting general ledger accounting financial reporting and month-end close in a complex multi-entity international environment. The team is currently operating under significant workload pressure due to growth and an active ERP implementation creating an opportunity for a strong accounting professional to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

Perform month-end close activities including journal entries reconciliations and analysis
Manage balance sheet and income statement accounts across multiple entities
Prepare and maintain supporting schedules and account reconciliations
Analyze financial data and identify trends variances and discrepancies
Review contracts and apply appropriate accounting treatment
Partner with FP&A on reporting budgeting and forecasting support
Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
Support ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives
Act as a liaison between accounting and other departments

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (CPA a plus)
6 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong experience with general ledger reconciliations and close processes
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working in a multi-entity environment preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
