Job Summary
About Us:
We are a fast-paced automotive dealership/service center seeking a dependable and organized Assistant Automotive Office Manager to support daily administrative and financial operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth back-office processes while assisting the Office Manager and team.
Key Reponsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily office operations within the dealership/service center
- Support accounts payable/receivable invoicing and basic bookkeeping
- Process vehicle deals titles registrations and related documentation
- Reconcile daily cash credit card transactions and service repair orders
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with automotive regulations
- Coordinate with sales service and finance departments
- Handle customer inquiries billing questions and phone/email communication
- Assist with payroll processing and employee records
- Ensure office systems and workflows run efficiently
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership or service office preferred
- Knowledge of dealership management systems (CDK) a plus
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and office procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
- Strong Communication and problem solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
