The Governance Partnership and Advocacy provides high level strategic advisory services to SFH RMNCAEHN leadership and government partners on health governance strengthening policy development and advocacy strategic partnership cultivation and health systems building blocks with particular emphasis on health financing and Sexual and Reproductive Health for young people. This role requires a senior level professional with deep expertise in health systems strengthening grounded in WHO building blocks comprehensive understanding of health financing mechanisms and domestic resources mobilisation proven experience in public policy formulation processes exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities and outstanding technical writing skills that demonstrate program outcomes including intangible health systems strengthening results. The staff will work at the highest levels of States government and organizational leadership providing strategic guidance that shapes policy environments strengthens governance systems mobilises resources and builds sustainable capacity for delivering quality SRH services to Nigerias young population.
Requirements
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Social Sciences Political Science Economics International Relations or Humanities from a reputable institution.
- A masters degree in public health health financing or policy influencing will be an added advantage
- Certifications on Project Management
- At least 7 years experience in public policy influencing health financing and governance space.
- Experience in advocacy and citizens engagement as well as knowledge and skills transfer on policy and health financing issues will be an added advantage.

Instituting Quality of Care (QoC) Frameworks & Mechanisms 3. Data Management Analysis & Use (high RDQA performance) 4. Supply Chain Management for Essential Commodities 5. Strategic Engagement Coordination & Resource Alignment (scale & sustainability) 6. Planning/Budgeting Knowledge Management & Reporting
Required Education:
Must possess a first degree in Nursing and /or Midwifery. And must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. An observable commitment to professional improvement will be an added advantage.5 years experience in an equivalent service delivery/health capacity strengthening role with progressively increasing responsibility in a fast-paced working environment. Supporting the delivery of results learning and capacity building for LGA and PHC level personnel.
