Job Summary
As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer you will:
- Design deploy and manage scalable secure and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Monitor maintain and optimize cloud resources for performance availability and cost efficiency
- Configure and manage networking components including VNets NSGs VPNs and Load Balancers
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated and consistent deployments
- Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory and RBAC
- Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues across cloud environments
- Collaborate with DevOps security and application teams to ensure seamless delivery
What You Bring to the Table:
- 68 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with strong focus on Azure
- Hands-on expertise in Azure core services: Virtual Machines Storage and Networking
- Experience with Azure networking services including VNet Load Balancer and VPN
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or ARM templates)
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management (AAD RBAC)
- Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS TCP/IP Subnets VPN)
- Experience in backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Basic scripting skills using PowerShell or Bash
You should possess the ability to:
- Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Apply cloud security best practices and compliance standards
- Work in hybrid cloud environments (on-premises and Azure integration)
- Optimize cloud cost and implement governance strategies
- Administer Linux and Windows servers
- Work with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Adapt to fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
