As an Azure Platform Engineer you will: Design build and operate enterprise-scale Azure landing zones aligned with security compliance and governance standards. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent scalable and auditable deployments. Build manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters ensuring high availability scalability and security. Architect and implement complex Azure networking solutions including hub-and-spoke Virtual WAN VNet peering private endpoints and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute VPN Gateway). Configure and manage Azure networking components such as Azure Firewall NSGs UDRs Application Gateway and Load Balancers. Ensure secure integration of AKS and PaaS services using private networking patterns. Implement monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Application Insights. Drive platform reliability resilience and operational excellence with an SRE/DevOps mindset. Support production environments including incident problem and change management. Lead cost optimization (FinOps) initiatives including rightsizing autoscaling and cost visibility. Implement governance using Azure Policy RBAC tagging strategies and budget controls. Collaborate with application security and architecture teams and contribute to design documentation and runbooks. What You Bring to the Table: 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with strong focus on Microsoft Azure. Deep hands-on expertise in Azure Networking (hub-spoke architecture private endpoints hybrid connectivity). Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) (design deployment operations and security). Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Experience working with Azure PaaS services such as App Services Azure SQL Storage Key Vault Service Bus and Event Hub. Strong understanding of cloud security governance and compliance preferably in banking or large enterprise environments. Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Exposure to DevOps/SRE practices CI/CD pipelines and automation. You should possess the ability to: Design and implement scalable secure and highly available cloud platforms. Solve complex networking and infrastructure challenges in Azure environments. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams including security architecture and development. Proactively identify risks performance bottlenecks and cost inefficiencies. Handle production support with strong ownership and accountability.
