Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Long Term Care
Location: Vestal NY
Type: Contract 16 Weeks
Pay Rate: $40.00 Per Hour
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Schedule: Day and Evening 5x8 Hours Every Other Weekend Required
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Long Term Care (LTC) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Vestal NY.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents
- Administer medications (Med Pass) and monitor patient responses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and report condition changes
- Provide care for Alzheimers and dementia patients
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure patient safety and facility protocol compliance
- Support daily resident care and clinical operations
- Deliver compassionate patient-centered nursing care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Active New York State RN license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- LTC rehab or med-surg experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in long-term care setting
