Night Security Officer Gatehouse Based
Location: Aberdare
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off (17:30 05:30)
Pay Rate: 13.36 per hour
Pay Frequency: Monthly
Role Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Night Security Officer to join our team at a site in Aberdare. This is a gatehouse-based role with additional responsibilities across the site during night hours.
Key Responsibilities
Controlling site access and egress
Operating and monitoring CCTV systems
Completing regular patrols of the site
Maintaining accurate logs and records
Dealing with visitors drivers and contractors professionally
Responding appropriately to incidents and alarms
Carrying out general gatehouse duties
Requirements
Valid SIA Licence (essential)
Previous security or gatehouse experience preferred
Strong communication and observational skills
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Reliable punctual and professional at all times
Basic IT skills for logging and reporting
