Job Description:
This job is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Key responsibilities include developing a technology strategy ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards promoting design engineering and organizational practices and advocating and advancing modern Agile solution delivery practices. Job expectations may include coaching mentoring providing feedback and hands on career development identifying emerging talent fostering leadership skills and managing stakeholders.
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager will be a key leader within the Data Performance Automation Services group in the PECM organization. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing all development efforts for the distributed computing and data analytics platform ecosystem. The Senior Manager will drive strategy architecture development testing and implementation across Hadoopbased platforms and associated automation and performance services.
This role requires a strong blend of technical leadership handson engineering expertise platform performance knowledge and crossfunctional collaboration with accountability for delivery quality and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives
- Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews coaching and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills
- Manages solution delivery and application performance in production (app health resiliency performance security enterprise data management standards audit exams and reviews) ensuring all relevant risk financial and compliance policies are met
- Manages relationships with business and technology partners and leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization
- Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain
- Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
- Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with product management and other stakeholders
- Lead all development initiatives across Hadoopbased platforms including Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Pepper data and other Enterprise data platforms.
- Own development for Enterprise Data platform Platform Benchmark Services Performance onboarding & Provisioning Automation and Storage/Compute Separation initiatives.
- Design and develop technical architectures enabling largescale Data Analytics Platform stacks both onprem and cloud following industry best practices.
- Lead and support CI/CD implementations with handson experience using Jenkins and related pipelines.
- Define and develop standards and methodologies for platform benchmarking performance testing evaluation data security and data privacy.
- Design best practices and review processes to ensure consistency across development teams.
- Define the Test Management Strategy partnering with Architects System Administrators and Release Train Engineers to ensure platform availability and readiness.
- Ensure ongoing test data relevance by identifying and resolving production and application development challenges.
- Calculate optimal data sets for integrated testing and evaluate integrate refresh and manage environments.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands on development experience in one of the following languages; C Java Scala Python
- Must have experience in Shell scripting
- Expertise in data management and querying using SQL PL/SQL and Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks i.e. (TensorFlow Keras PyTorch)
- Experience with ML and NLP libraries such scikit learn spaCy
- Excellent written verbal and presentation skills.
- Must have experience managing and leading a team of 8 individuals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Deep experience with Big Data technologies
- Experience implementing and operating Enterprise Data platforms such as AWS Azure GCP
