POSITION: Teacher Assistant

LOCATION: Mountain View Core Knowledge School

QUALIFICATIONS:

Para Educator Certified or Minimum of Two Years College Experience Preferred
Patience and Flexibility
Strong background in Education
Experience in working with elementary students
Good understanding of Colorado Content Standards
Strong student management skills/Relationship-Based
Excellent communication skills in oral and written languages
Good team member
Love for Children
Strong Skills in Math Grammar/Writing Reading
Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. 148 day contract
2. 8 hour workday/4 days per week
3. Minimum of 80% time working hands-on with students/20% clerical
4. Work with teaching colleagues students parents and administration effectively
