DESCRIPTION:
Join our Utilities Team as a Building Maintenance Technician I where youll contribute to maintaining and operating essential site functions. Youll work with advanced systems including wastewater treatment energy centers manufacturing facilities and laboratory utilities. Operating through both manual and computerized systems youll manage critical infrastructure such as water systems HVAC cooling towers and compressed air systems while ensuring compliance with cGMP procedures and regulatory requirements. This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise across multiple technical areas while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
No prior experience required
Must obtain D-level Wastewater license within 2 years of employment
Experience with computerized control systems (Honeywell PCR2 Wonderware)
Knowledge of boiler-water and cooling tower water chemistry
Ability to obtain and maintain various materials handling equipment certifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel)
Experience in chemical processing or pharmaceutical environment preferred
Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays
Analytical problem-solving skills and methodical approach to technical challenges
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and government regulations
Physical requirements include standing lifting up to 50 pounds and manual dexterity
Must successfully complete Utility Operator Training program within first year
Ability to work in environments with occasional exposure to chemical substances
Demonstrated understanding of cGMP and pharmaceutical processes
