Job Summary
The Senior Software Engineer (VB) role is focused on the design development implementation and continuous improvement of complex internal software applications primarily using Visual Basic (VB / ) C# JavaScript and Microsoft/Oracle databases. The position leads development projects and is involved in the full software development life cycle including analysis design coding testing deployment and post-implementation support. It is responsible for ensuring technical quality maintaining and optimizing existing systems and delivering scalable business solutions.
A strong emphasis is placed on Visual Basic expertise as this skill is key for maintaining enhancing and modernizing existing business-critical applications. The role also requires strong experience in APIs relational databases and software engineering best practices within collaborative environments. They are seeking an analytical self-driven customer-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills project management capabilities and advanced English communication skills.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- 7 years of software development experience including senior-level experience.
- Strong expertise in Visual Basic (VB / ) C# .NET APIs and SQL databases.
- Solid experience with JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of SDLC design patterns testing and object-oriented programming.
- Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Advanced English level required.
