• Design and deliver civil infrastructure solutions using 12D Model with a focus on road alignment and earthworks

• Collaborate with Engineers designers and stakeholders to produce practical costeffective designs across multiple civil disciplines

The Opportunity

Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across NSW we are seeking a Senior 12D Design Engineer with strong road alignment experience to join our NSW team.

As a 12D Design Engineer you will play a key role within our engineering team delivering highquality designs using 12D Model software. Working collaboratively with Engineers and fellow designers you will produce detailed designs across a range of civil disciplines including earthworks roads drainage and stormwater sewer and water infrastructure.

This role offers flexibility of location and may be based in Acciona offices in Sydney Melbourne Adelaide Brisbane or Perth.

Key Accountabilities

• Produce design models and documentation using the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCAD

• Develop innovative and efficient design modelling solutions keeping pace with emerging industry technologies

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical costeffective engineering outcomes

• Collaborate with other designers to develop maintain and improve design and modelling standards

• Identify and forecast risks opportunities and scope variances within assigned works

• Prepare design inputs for estimating activities including quantities and takeoffs as required

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent discipline

• Strong proficiency in 12D Model with experience in areas such as macro programming snippet creation and chains highly regarded

• Proven experience delivering 12D civil designs particularly road alignment within a design consultancy environment

• Solid understanding of road design principles and alignment methodologies

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels

• Experience with alternative design platforms (e.g. OpenRoads) will also be considered for the right candidate.
