Position Overview

A leading global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a motivated entry-level Process Engineer to join their team in the greater Houston/League City area. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering who is eager to launch a long-term career in process engineering within the polymers or petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily plant operations by monitoring and optimizing process performance
• Assist in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
• Analyze process data to identify opportunities for efficiency quality and cost improvements
• Collaborate with operations maintenance and technical teams on continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in process safety management (PSM) and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Contribute to process documentation standard operating procedures (SOPs) and reports
• Support capital and small project initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
• Exposure to polymers plastics or related processes through coursework internships or research
• Recent graduate or early-career (02 years of experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn take direction and grow within a structured environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship co-op or academic project experience in polymer or chemical manufacturing
• Familiarity with process simulation tools or data analysis software
• Local to the Houston and surrounding areas (or strong ties to the region)
• Graduates from local institutions such as University of Houston or nearby universities strongly encouraged to apply
