Project Engineer II

• Specify water treatment process equipment and components including pressure vessels piping valves pumps instruments & controls etc.
• Review and ensure compliance with technical specifications required for projects.
• Work with the design team to create all designs and drawings needed for projects.
• Define scope of supply for suppliers and write procurement specifications and requests for quotation.
• Review and approve equipment design. Inspection of equipment.

Qualifications :

The position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign degree equivalent in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Water Resources Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-bachelors degree experience in a related engineering occupation. Alternatively Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Water Resources Engineering or a related field and 3 years of post-masters degree experience in a related engineering occupation required.

The position also requires: 3 years experience with process equipment utilizing pumps valves instrumentation and controls and the manufacturing processes utilized for the same; 3 years experience in design of piping systems pressure vessels and steel structures; 3 years experience in specifying size study control valves piping and pumps; 3 years experience in Google apps suite (Gmail Docs and Sheets); and 3 years experience in reviewing 3-D models using 3-D design software.

Additional Information :

Telecommuting is permitted. When not telecommuting must report/appear into/at Whittier Filtration office in Brea CA.  $136968 to $136968 per year.
