ABOUT THE ROLE
The Internal Communications Associate is the central coordinator and creator for all Internal Communications. They are responsible for drafting Internal Monthly Newsletters drafting and coordinating the content collection and curation for the Global Staff Call and maintaining ownership over the entire look / feel and content development of the Dalberg intranet (The Dalberg Hub)
In doing so they are supporting and maintaining internal touchpoints and platforms to enable meaningful contributions from Dalbergians ensuring these channels inform inspire and share insights that drive our collective impact.
Ultimately their role leverages creativity and excellent communication skills to engage with the consulting and operations staff to generate creative ideas and content creation formats which bridge cultural geographical and organizational barriers to foster a globally connected engaged & insight-driven workforce through internal communications.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW
Control the Internal Communications Content Creation Requests and Content Calendar Schedule
- Overseeing all inbound requests triaging them according to global priorities and maintaining a strong pipeline of content for the internal communications calendar.
- Respond to requests that emerge from the operations teams for internal communications support offering guidance and creative idea generation to solve internal communication needs.
Owning end-to-end process to design and disseminate Internal Newsletter
- Coordinate and draft internal newsletters overseeing the end-to-end workflow for internal newsletter dissemination.
- Draft content liaising with contributors supporting layout and design and preparing distributionensuring timelines set by the Senior Manager.
Drafting and managing Global Staff Call Agenda and Content
- Coordinate and draft the Global Staff Call agenda overseeing the end-to-end workflow
- Draft content liaising with contributors supporting to prepare the slides and rehearsals as required.
Preside over and maintain the operations of the Intranet (The Hub)
- Overseeing all inbound requests to update the Intranet (The Hub) or when required sourcing new or updated content to be added - triaging according to operational and business priorities
- Monitoring and maintaining the usability effectiveness and quality of the HUB
- Flagging when any out-of-date or incorrect content needs to be fixed and updating accordingly.
- Conducting recurring audits alongside Site Page Leads (e.g. Practice Area Leads) to ensure content is maintained and updated
- Monthly Reporting on the HUB effectiveness and creative idea generation to improve the quality and experience of the platform for all staff.
ABOUT YOU
Educational Qualifications:
- Qualifications or coursework in Communications Creative Production Project Management Business Administration or equivalent of real-world experience.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience working within a communications role preferably in a creative (content creation) role or within a cross-functional communications environment.
- Experience working across global or regions teams or stakeholder groups a plus.
Key Skills:
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Creativity: Ability to combine creative vision alongside the practicalities of implementation.
- Design and/or Content Creation: Experience creating content i.e. using platforms such as Canva to create designs newsletters or other communications collaterals.
- Video Editing experience a bonus.
- Webinar (e.g. Zoom) or Virtual Townhall Experience: Virtual Event experience a bonus.
- AI and Digital native: Comfortable adapting to new technology and innovation and implementing digital systems (such as canva) and demonstrates an adaptive readiness towards AI.
