Job Summary

Summary / Goal
Join TVH in building a solid Data Foundation that will help us in taking the next step in becoming a digital data driven company. As a Supplier Data Management Expert you will be performing in depth analysis a guardian of data quality and the ultimate expert on supplier data and related processes within the supplier data domain.


You are responsible for ensuring that data is accurate reliable secure and fit for its intended purpose. The Supplier Data Management Expert is the go-to person for related to supplier master data and in this role supports issue resolution executes complex analysis monitors data quality and contributes to data projects. You engage with stakeholders in and outside data to implement potential optimizations within your data domain.

Key Responsibilities
Domain Data Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact for all data-related
inquiries within the supplier data domain understand both IT and business
perspectives supporting colleagues and stakeholders.
Data Analysis: Develop deep-dive analysis queries and scripts providing critical data insights to lead process improvements and support decision making on a data driven foundation.
Data Quality: Design data quality metrics within the supplier data domain ensuring data is consistently accurate reliable and complete.
Issue Resolution: Responsible for identifying investigating and resolving complex master data related conflicts discrepancies and quality issues within and across your domain. Validate solutions with the design and execute complex testing scenarios on data integrity and system changes.
Standards Enforcement & Documentation: Document maintain and report on relevant supplier processes standards and guidelines. Also ensure communication and adherence to these data processes standards and guidelines.
Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing existing operations and support in generating new ideas to assist in identifying continuous improvements implementing best practices.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and effectively with the different data teams IT and business stakeholders to ensure the value of data is recognized and meets business requirements. Facilitate communication gather feedback and align data practices across departments and projects.
Mentorship & Guidance: Pro-actively provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues assisting them with daily tasks issues and promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications
Masters degree (or equivalent by experience) in a relevant field such as Information Management Data Management Business Administration Computer Science or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.

>5 years of experience working with supplier data preferably in a data management data quality or data governance role with a focus on supplier data.
Familiarity with data quality concepts and data management best practices.
Strong understanding of data structures data relationships and database concepts from a technical and functional perspective.
Experience working in a medium to large global organization with data management tools and technologies (e.g. data quality platforms data catalogs data profiling tools) is a plus.

Strong Data Manipulation Skills: Familiarity with Tableau basic SQL Python or data manipulation tools (e.g. Excel Google Sheets) for data investigation and analysis.
Mentor/Coaching Skills: Offering day-to-day support sharing knowledge of best practices and helping to build data literacy and stewardship capabilities across the organization.
Learning Agility: Willingness to learn new tools technologies and data
management concepts.
