AUTOMATION MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (AE)

Client: A leading global electronics manufacturer with a large-scale production operation in Samut Prakan. Part of a Taiwan-headquartered group that supplies major international technology brands.

Location: Samut Prakan Thailand (on-site)

Reporting To: Automation / Maintenance Engineering Manager

Role Overview

The Automation Maintenance Engineer is responsible for keeping the facilitys automation equipment running at peak performance. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance fault diagnosis and continuous improvement of equipment uptime and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance 5S sorting and machine report sign-off for assigned automation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve faults tracking the operational status and performance of each machine.
• Execute scheduled maintenance routines across daily weekly and monthly cycles.
• Monitor product quality and respond quickly to equipment-related issues with a focus on preventive solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to raise equipment efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Automation or a related technical field.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in automation equipment maintenance within manufacturing ideally electronics or high-volume assembly.
• Ability to program and repair automation equipment independently.
• Proficient in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Good command of Chinese or English: listening speaking reading and writing.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary based on experience aligned with company structure.

• Travel allowance: THB 35 per working day (for shifts over 4 hours).
• Attendance bonus: THB 500 (month 1) and THB 1000 (month 2) for perfect attendance.
