Mechanical Engineer

• Design and develop mechanical systems including ACMV plumbing and building infrastructure from concept through construction administration
• Perform detailed engineering calculations system modeling and performance analysis to optimize efficiency energy consumption and lifecycle value
• Create comprehensive technical drawings specifications and reports that meet applicable codes standards and client requirements
• Coordinate closely with architectural structural electrical plumbing and specialty discipline teams to ensure integrated constructible solutions
• Conduct site investigations and assessments to evaluate existing systems and inform design decisions
• Review shop drawings submittals and requests for information (RFIs); provide technical guidance during construction phases
• Select and specify mechanical equipment and materials based on project requirements performance criteria and cost-effectiveness
• Attend project meetings site visits and client presentations to communicate technical solutions and address concerns
• Collaborate with team members to maintain quality standards share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
• At least 1 year of relevant mechanical engineering experience in consulting design-build or industrial environments
• Strong working knowledge of ASHRAE standards building codes and mechanical system design principles
• Proficiency with CAD software and mechanical design tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environments
• Willing to accept a 2 years employment contract if selected
