Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced IBM Integration Suite Architect with 15 years of IT experience to lead the design implementation and governance of enterprise-grade integration solutions. This role requires deep expertise in IBM integration technologies strong architectural capabilities and the ability to drive scalable secure and high-performing integration landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Solution Design:

• Define end-to-end integration architecture using IBM Integration Suite (ACE MQ API Connect DataPower Event Streams)
• Design scalable reusable and loosely coupled integration solutions
• Develop architecture artifacts including HLDs LLDs canonical data models and integration patterns

Integration Strategy & Governance:

• Define enterprise integration strategies (API-led event-driven microservices-based)
• Establish standards frameworks and best practices
• Drive governance across APIs messaging and event streaming platforms
• Ensure compliance with security performance and reliability standards

API & Microservices Architecture:

• Design API management strategies using IBM API Connect
• Define API lifecycle versioning throttling and security policies
• Enable microservices architecture using Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift

Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture:

• Architect asynchronous integrations using IBM MQ and Kafka/Event Streams
• Design event-driven architectures for real-time data processing
• Ensure high availability fault tolerance and reliability

Security & Compliance:

• Implement security frameworks (OAuth2 JWT TLS)
• Ensure data protection encryption and compliance standards
• Collaborate with security teams for governance and audits

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and mentor integration teams
• Conduct architecture reviews and governance sessions
• Troubleshoot complex integration and performance issues

DevOps & Delivery:

• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Drive automation monitoring and observability
• Manage deployments across on-prem cloud and hybrid environments

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience:

• 15 years of IT experience with 810 years in enterprise integration
• Proven experience in architecting large-scale integration solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration technologies

Technical Skills:

• IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE / IIB)
• IBM MQ
• IBM API Connect
• IBM DataPower Gateway
• IBM Event Streams / Kafka
• REST/SOAP APIs JSON XML XSLT
• Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)

Architecture Expertise:

• API-led connectivity
• Event-driven architecture
• Microservices & containerization (Docker Kubernetes OpenShift)
• Hybrid and multi-cloud integration

Certifications (Preferred):

• IBM Certified Integration Architect / Solution Architect
