About the Role

We are looking for a Business Information Analyst to support the development of a data-driven organization within a complex network management environment.

In this role you will focus on information analysis data modeling and business intelligence working closely with business experts data teams and stakeholders to enable better decision-making and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth information and data analysis to support business needs

Develop and maintain information models and data structures

Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and data requirements

Support the development of a central data and information platform

Contribute to data governance analytics and reporting initiatives

Work closely with cross-functional teams (business IT data and operations)

Translate business needs into clear functional and analytical solutions

Create and maintain documentation and metadata

Support large-scale data and transformation projects

Required Skills & Experience

Core Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst

Strong experience in:

Information analysis and data preparation

Information modeling

Proven ability to deliver analysis for projects impacting 50 business users

Data & Tools

Experience with Data Governance Data Analytics or BI tools such as:

Microsoft Azure

Power BI

SAP Analytics Cloud / SAP Data Services

Databricks

Enterprise Architect (preferred)

Analytical & Consulting Skills

Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to balance big-picture and operational detail

Ability to work independently and manage complex analytical tasks

Experience in stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration

Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

Experience in utilities or network-based industries (electricity gas heat sewerage)

Education

Masters degree in a relevant field

Language Requirement

Fluent in Dutch (CEFR Level C2 mandatory)
