Functional Analyst (Medior)

Overview
We are looking for a Medior Functional Analyst to join a dynamic DevOps team within the education sector. You will work in an agile (Scrum) environment contributing to projects related to student information systems lifelong learning and quality assurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements
- Develop functional analyses aligned with overall ICT architecture
- Collaborate with product owners developers architects and business stakeholders
- Work within a Scrum-based DevOps team (2-week sprints)
- Test applications or coordinate testing to ensure quality and performance
- Support incident resolution at 3rd line level
- Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve technical knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst and/or Business Analyst
- Experience with business-critical or non-business-critical applications
- Background in higher education environments
- Strong experience in Business Process Modelling and Product Backlog Management
- Experience with RFP analysis
- Knowledge of OO UML data and process modelling techniques
- Familiarity with multi-tier and web-based environments
- Dutch language proficiency at C2 level (mandatory)
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Scrum Master
- Exposure to UI design and UI testing

- Full-time role (100% capacity)
- On-site position (no remote work)
- Contract until December 2026
