Pediatric Occupational Therapist
PEDS OCC THER
Full-Time
Pediatric Occupational Therapist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps individuals across the lifespan develop recover or maintain daily living and work skills affected by physical mental or developmental conditions. They assess patient needs create personalized treatment plans teach adaptive techniques and recommend environment modifications (home/work) to maximize independence. Bureau of Labor Statistics
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Evaluation & Treatment Planning: Conduct patient evaluations to assess physical cognitive and sensory-motor capabilities.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Implement treatment plans tailored to patient goals such as improving motor skills enhancing cognitive function and managing daily tasks (e.g. dressing eating cooking).
- Adaptive Equipment Training: Identify recommend and train patients/caregivers on the use of assistive devices (e.g. wheelchairs customized tools orthotics).
- Environment Adaptation: Evaluate and modify home school or work environments to ensure accessibility and safety.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed accurate records including evaluations progress notes and discharge plans.
- Collaboration: Work with doctors nurses physical therapists and family members to ensure a cohesive care plan.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Pediatric Occupational Therapist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience for the unit they are applying to.
- Candidates must live outside 100 miles from facility.
- Competitive benefits package!
- Relocation bonus: Available depending on relocation area. 1 year commitment minimum.
- Sign on bonus: Candidates with less than 2 years experience $10000. Over 2 years experience $25000. 2 year commitment in order to receive full bonus.
- Certifications: BLS required upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtain after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
- Licensure: Open to candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure. Candidates must obtain prior to start.
