Senior Payroll Specialist (Financial Services) McLean VA (Hybrid Flex)

What Youll Do:
- Execute and support bi-weekly payroll processing with a focus on accuracy timeliness and compliance
- Manage reconciliation auditing and proofing of payroll data (gross-to-net)
- Partner with Legal Finance and external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
- Handle payroll tax garnishments and time & labor regulations
- Serve as a key point of contact for complex payroll inquiries and issue resolution
- Support process improvements documentation and HRIS/system updates
What Were Looking For:
- 47 years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong expertise in payroll tax garnishments and compliance requirements
- Experience with Workday (strongly preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables VLOOKUP data analysis)
- Highly detail-oriented organized and able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
