Job Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The employee will:

  • Prepares Revenue per airline
  • Prepares monthly summary of port fee based on sales invoices for remittance to MIAA
  • Prepares Airline Global bonus discount
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation of accounts as assigned
  • Prepares various account schedules for audit (external and internal)
  • Reviews the accuracy and completeness of details on Billing Invoices DM CM such as amounts currency etc. including brokerage fees billing
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation of accounts as assigned
  • Monitors accounts receivables and customers outstanding balance
  • Prepares and reviews customers official receipts
  • Ensures Employees cash advances liquidated on time and up to date
  • Performs occasional liaison tasks to follow-up collection or customer check payments and remittances
  • Posting and recording of customers collections
  • Prepares and review accruals prepayments and adjustments during month-end/year-end closing
  • Prepares monthly reconciliation of accounts as assigned
  • Assists in doing Tax related activities
  • Assists in Application of Insurance Business Permits Licenses etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS CAPABILITIES & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Equivalent business experience of at least 1 year and preferably with experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Has at least 1-year work experience in the same capacity preferably from an airline and catering operations supply chain management and/or logistics.
  • Must have average oral and written communication skills applying analytical skills to the organization. Employee must also have good acumen in business and writing.
  • High aptitude in generally accepted accounting principles and related areas of expertise. Moderate comprehension skills in interpreting financial statements and report generation as well as presentation of facts and figures.
  • Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs as well as apply accurate generally accepted accounting principles in determining favorable competitive price positions for the company.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and up-to-date accounting software(s) an advantage.
  • Can handle high to severe work pressures with planning and organizational skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Above average to excellent analytical skills and ability to see the big picture.
  • Employee must have the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Must uphold integrity in work and relationships team-oriented self-starting resourceful and organized.
  • Certificates Licenses Registrations (as required): No particular certification candidate with relevant background and experience in the same field is given preference.
