Job Title: Renewable Energy Sales Consultant / Surveyor
Location: Newark (field-based covering surrounding areas)

About the Company
A fast-growing renewable energy business specialising in solar PV and low-carbon technologies across domestic and small commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and consistent lead flow in the Newark region they are looking to expand their team with a technically minded Sales Consultant / Surveyor.
The Role
This is a hybrid sales and surveying position within the renewables sector. You will attend pre-qualified appointments assess properties for solar PV suitability design tailored systems and convert opportunities into sales. This role suits someone with a strong understanding of renewable technologies and a consultative customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending pre-booked appointments with residential and light commercial customers
- Conducting on-site surveys for solar PV and other renewable solutions
- Designing systems and producing accurate competitive quotations
- Advising customers on energy savings ROI and sustainability benefits
- Closing sales and managing the project journey through to installation
- Working closely with installation teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Keeping up to date with renewable technologies incentives and regulations
Requirements
- Experience in renewable energy sales solar PV surveying or technical sales
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems (additional renewables knowledge beneficial)
- Proven ability to close deals and manage a sales pipeline
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
