Rate of Pay:50.02 - 66.12 per hour
Summary:
Lead on drafting site allocation policies for housing and employment sites as part of an ambitious Local Plan timetable with submission planned for December. Support the preparation of the Regulation 19 (Pre-Submission) Local Plan and associated documents.
Responsibilities:
Draft site allocation policies for selected housing and employment sites
Review and contribute to Strategic Policies
Support preparation of documents for Regulation 19 consultation
Collaborate with Place Services and other Council departments
Ensure policies are robust deliverable and fit for purpose
Undertake site visits as required
Essential Requirements:
Experience drafting Local Plan allocation policies (essential)
Experience taking a Local Plan through Regulation 19 and Examination
Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
Good teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Full UK driving licence
Please note:
You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
