THE ROLE
Our site inChaska MNisseeking aBlow Molding Internto join our teamfor theSummer 2026season. Thisassignment is intended to be12-14 monthsin duration.
As an intern in theblow molddepartment you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. The blow molding department produces drums that our customers use to store and dispense a different range of chemicalsutilizedfor their manufacturing this role you willrotate between three workstations that include activities such aspreparingmoldeddrums for the cooling cyclehandlingand replenishingresinsforablow mold machine and working in a clean roomenvironmenttoassemble drumsfollowing standard operating procedures. You will get the opportunity to shadow our Lead Process Technician onblowmoldingprocesses.
WhatYoullDo
Primary responsibility will be shadowing our Lead Process Technician onblowmoldingprocesses
Operateandmonitordrum moldingequipmentandmakesanyadjustments as needed
Trim excess material from molded drums usingappropriate cuttingequipment and techniques
Perform drum assembly tasks in a cleanroom environment including attachingO-rings caps and other components to blow-molded drums
Ensureproper handling and continuous replenishment of blow mold machine resins
Insert cooling fixtures as required for the drum cooling processto ensuredesired productdimensions
Set up laser marking equipment foraccuratelabeling of drums according to specifications
Issue materials updates status of work orders on SAP and enters work order information in other ERP systems throughout theproductionprocess for effective record-keeping
Ensureproducts areconsistent with established specifications through Camline software by using various measuring tools
Ensure the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policyISOand/or other standards.
Finalize all required paperwork thoroughlyandtimely( Reports Rack Tickets LabelsComponentSheets Rework Sheets SAP Transactions etc.)
Integrate on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction waste elimination growth costeffectivenessand product/system quality
Promote and implementthe useof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities
Participate actively in Entegris continuous improvement activities such as 6s Kaizen events etc.
Completes miscellaneoustasksassigned in support oflargerorganization and production goals

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship
At least one year ofpreviousexperience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred
Ability to perform basic math calculations as well as computer data entry skills
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year
Full-time role as aBlowmoldingProcess Engineer as a possibility after graduation
Desired graduation in Spring 2028
Coursework focused in plastics molding or manufacturing preferred
Eligibility
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week M-F (8a-5p) beginningin May through August.
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
Must be able tolift upto times.
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Work is performed in an environment with moderate to high noise levels. Hearing protection isalwaysrequired.
This role involvesfrequentpinching and grasping of hand/power tools. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)isrequiredtobewornwhile on duty. This includes safety glasses steel-toed shoeshearing protectionand high-visibility vests.
Adherence to cleanroom attire standardsisrequired at times while on includes the use of specified protective gear and garments (gown hair and beard nets shoe coverings and gloves) designed tomaintaina clean and controlled work environment.
