Job Summary
- A working stage electrician that designs lighting for all in-house produced shows and coordinates lighting design requirements with the appropriate agent for any incoming star performer stage production convention or industrial shows.
- Provides Family Style Service at all times.
- Will work any technician positions as required.
May perform other duties as assigned.
$34.10 Per Hour
Responsibilities
Responsible for drafting lighting plots dimmer color media and circuit patching schedules; programming lighting controller specifying lighting equipment and stock purchases maintaining inventory control and equipment servicing.
Capable of calling all lighting cues for all shows.
Oversees lighting technicians and coordinates performance related crew schedules with stage manager.
Must be able to perform job duties satisfactorily with a minimal amount of supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts in theatre with concentration in technical theatre or 4 years of documented employment as stage technician in all phases of technical stage production including crafts rigging electronic audio and production management.
Six (6) years of documented employment as lighting designer for theatre dance revues variety and television to include crew supervision.
Lighting portfolio required.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have ability to perform duties and lead staff with minimal supervision.
Required to perform the customer service standards of the department.
Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act and Attendant Regulations as well as company internal controls policies and procedures.
