Coherent Corp. Zurich is a key research and production hub specializing in advanced photonics engineered materials and high-power semiconductor laser technologies. Our teams develop and manufacture opto-electronic components and laser diodes for industrial optical data transmission life science and high-precision applications combining strong in-house R&D with state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing in an engineering-led culture.

• Research & Development (R&D)
• Test Engineering & Characterization
• Process Engineering & Manufacturing
• Data Analysis & Software
• Other technical and business-related functions

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g. Physics Electrical Engineering Materials Science Data Science or similar)
• Strong interest in technology engineering or applied research
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills in English (German is a plus depending on the role)
